About Us

BOLD - BEAUTIFUL - BLUE RIDGE

Yoga828 is located in the center of the North Carolina High Country’s best locations and venues, with skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, and music. We chose The Shoppes of Tynecastle so that no matter where you live in the high country or what your destination is, you can be served by yoga during your stay.

Groups can take advantage of yoga classes, paddleboard yoga, outdoor classes, and private events with our amazing lakes, gorgeous green, and blue summers with perfect temperatures. Yoga828 is set up for pleasure and fun experiences! Group classes running seven days a week serve everyone.

Open hands and ready to receive as Yoga828 brings events designed to integrate experiences for teachers and students from all over. Our studio atmosphere is warm, connected, and hosts yoga events for everyone.

Yin + Myofacial Release

Join us on Saturday, July 13th from 1:00-3:00pm for a Yin + Myofacial Release workshop. This two hour class combines the use of myofascial release technique with the usage of balls and Yin Yoga postures to restore and improve range of motion while stimulating the flow of prana/energy.

Live Acoustic Flow with Brooks & Jenna

Join us on Monday, July 15th from 5:30pm to 6:45pm for a live acoustic flow class with Jenna Stone and local musician Brooks Forsyth. Flow yoga guides clients smoothly through grounding and uplifting postures. Each movement is sequenced to build a mindful and physical practice that benefits the whole person.
