Studio Policies

YOGA828 Policies and Procedures
Our studio is a space for practicing yoga, building community, and supporting one another in a respectful and welcoming environment. Teachers are here to guide your practice, and clients are here to learn, move, connect, and enjoy the benefits of yoga.
To preserve that shared purpose, please read our studio policies regarding communication, class bookings, cancellations, and professional boundaries. These guidelines are intended to support a positive experience for everyone while respecting the time, privacy, and responsibilities of both our teachers and clients.
- Class Bookings - We strongly encourage clients to reserve their spot in advance using the “Book Now” tab in WellnessLiving. You can access WellnessLiving through the Scheduling page on our website or by downloading the WellnessLiving Achieve app. Pre-registering helps make check-in faster and allows us to begin class on time. Walk-ins are welcome! However, if a class is canceled and you have not pre-registered, you will not receive a cancellation notification. Please check the online schedule shortly before class—especially within the hour before it begins—to confirm that the class is still scheduled.
- Cancellations - Although we make every effort to avoid cancellations, a class may occasionally need to be canceled because of unforeseen circumstances, teacher availability. Clients who are pre-registered for a canceled class will receive an email notification as soon as possible, generally no later than one hour before the scheduled start time. Email is the most effective way to communicate with the studio. Please do not rely on text messages to the studio number for time-sensitive questions, cancellations, or schedule updates. If you are unable to attend a class you reserved, please email jenna.yoga828@gmail.com at least one hour before class begins. This helps us respect the time of our teachers and fellow students and allows another client the opportunity to attend. Cancellations made less than one hour before class, as well as missed classes without notice, may not be eligible for a class-pass credit.
- Studio Etiquette - Please arrive with the understanding that the studio is a professional space dedicated to the practice and teaching of yoga. We value community and welcome respectful conversation and connection among students and teachers. You are welcome to mingle after class, but please keep your stay to approximately 10 minutes so teachers have time to conclude their work and attend to their personal needs. Teachers try to arrive 15 minutes before class and will open the door for clients to settle in. Please respect teachers’ time, privacy, and personal boundaries. Studio conversations should remain appropriate and relevant to the studio environment.
- Professionalsim - Teacher–client relationships are strictly professional. The studio is not a place to pursue romantic or personal relationships with teachers or staff. Any conduct, communication, or attention that makes a teacher or staff member uncomfortable, or that crosses professional boundaries, may result in the client being dismissed from the studio and denied further services, at the studio’s discretion. Further explanation or discussion may not be provided.
